I know of a record shop in Copenhagen Denmark that claims to have a letter from Euronymous himself. The store is called "Rock Uglen" which translates to "The Rock Owl". The address is:

Rock Uglen
Frederiksborggade 40
1360 København K

This is what the owner told me. He had initially received a few records from Deathlike Silence Productions, liking them he wrote back to Aarseth and suggested they made some kind of distribution deal. Aarseth replied that the bands from the records shouldn't become too widely available in order to make sure people would have to make an effort in trying to procure said albums. I have asked for this letter many many times but the owner who is at least more than 50 years old keep telling me he can't find it and that he haven't been looking for it. I think he doesn't wan't to find because of the church burnings, murders and nazism related to it. I do believe him myself however.

Hi abe, sorry for the late reply. The interesting thing about BM is theres thousands of people out there just sitting on, at least what i would consider, "gold".. I
Mean... What happened to euronymous's guitars? Wheres vargs old chainmail? What 40 year old office worker has that one-off mayhem rehearsal tape he got when he was 20? Etc etc etc. i guess lots of people dont really notice or care. I know i gave away ALOT of stuff 15/20 years ago simply because i didnt realize how signifigant it would be. I guess its human nature.
Well... Id say keep bugging the fellow and get your mayhem letter! Good luck!

Great site. I have 5 typed letters from Varg that he sent me whilst we corresponded in 92/93. I have 2 great letters from Euronymous aswell as some old shirts from Varg. How do I share these items with everyone?
